This session is everything I love about summery weather, golden hour sunsets, blooming flowers, and gorgeous family portraits! On Saturday I had a day of mini sessions and each one was magical and special and so fun!
I wanted to share more from the Pfeiler family session because of the sweet back story. Mom had seen one of my stories about how I love flowy floral dresses/skirts, and spent time looking for JUST the right one! She then built everyone’s outfits around HER outfit, which is ALWAYS a good idea! When Mom feels good, everyone else feels good. Also, this family asked for more of a playful lifestyle session, which totally makes my creative heart so happy.

Can we all just take a collective sigh of relief that are are turning the corner on the dreary winter we had and that Spring is blooming all around us?! I was SO EXCITED to be able to take the Funk family to a new-to-me location, and it was just so perfectly SPRING with all the cherry blossoms!

Another reason I loved this session was that I got to celebrate another milestone with this sweet family. The kids are growing up, and moving on to big new chapters in their lives, and this Mama just wanted one last celebratory photo session to document their sweet dynamic. A Little Something Different...
Sometimes I get asked to edit a little differently from my usual style and I LOVE it. It's really fun for me to do something different from my normal clean and classic style and it pushes me creatively, which is always a good thing.

{Senior} Taylor
What can I say about Taylor other than she is a COOL chick and she has an awesome vibe to be around. I loved photographing her. She is strong and confident and made our session so easy and fun. I haven't ever photographed a professional model, but I kind felt like I was shooting one during our session! A fun fact about Taylor, she is a wrestler, and I think that's pretty bad ass.
