Generations sessions are all about bringing your entire family together to capture the love, connection, and legacy that spans across the generations. From grandparents to grandkids, cousins to aunts and uncles, we’ll document the whole shebang! These sessions are perfect for showcasing the bonds that tie your family together, and it’s an opportunity to preserve those memories for generations to come.

Many families choose to gift a Generations session to their parents or grandparents, and it’s always a meaningful gift that everyone will cherish. (I also offer beautiful gift certificates if you need one!) Not only is it a special keepsake for the matriarch and patriarch, but it’s a gift for the entire family to treasure. I’ve had the privilege of photographing many of these sessions over the years, and every time, I’m reminded of just how powerful it is to gather family in one place and capture the love and joy they share.

Generations sessions typically last between one to two hours, depending on the size of your group, and take place at a location we choose together. I’ll work with you ahead of time to create a personalized “shot list” so that we capture all the meaningful combinations you want. I have a tried-and-true list we can use as a starting point, but feel free to add or tweak anything to make it truly yours. While these sessions tend to be more posed in nature to ensure we get everyone looking their best, I always take the time to capture those candid, sweet moments in between. Each family unit gets their own individual family portraits, with bonus images of everyone together!
